The Women’s Leadership Forum of ACAA is an informal group of ACAA women members whose broad goals are:
- To develop interest and qualifications of women members for ACAA committee leadership and officer positions;
- To acquaint ACAA women members with the wide range of energy and building materials careers, and professional organizations and meetings with the goal of opening paths for further career development;
- To promote professional interactions and camaraderie among ACAA women members and women in related fields, including government, energy, building materials, and consulting.
We meet at a sponsored luncheon at the ACAA business meetings, where we have invited speakers to provide an overview of their careers and discuss with us the challenges and successes they have met along the way. We also provide contact information and short bios for each of our participants, to foster interaction outside of the ACAA meetings.
We encourage you to join us at the next ACAA meeting – just sign up when you register, or contact Alyssa Barto [Alyssa.Barto@acaa-usa.org] and let her know you are interested in participating. Please be sure to also complete and submit the Member Roster with Profile form.
